Rockville Civic Ballet's Mission

Classical ballet evolved out of court dances in Renaissance Europe and has long been the purview of the elite. The RCB has dedicated itself to the democratization of the art form, molding it to our dancers and audience. In the course of this process, we have brought ballet classics to the stage. Our debut production of Giselle in March 2025 showcased the talent of our dancers and the powerful strength of teamwork. Our ghostly willi corps shone as they followed Myrtha's every command.
